Packaged with Perfection

Corky at Trailer Park

Corky arrived safely at the Cotton Adams RV and Trailer Park Campgrounds in Woonsocket, South Dakota. This is the place where Cotton Adams discovered oil. Unfortunately, it was only cooking oil. His "Alphabet Game" began here and became the official game of Mudflap County.
Inspired by this famous Calvinist circuit rider, Corky decided to ride a horse to Mount Rushmore. That way he can "mount" and not "rush more". (bad pun I know, but somebody had to do it.)

Corky's Bad Choice

Corky Velveeta flew Sky's Convertible Airlines today and had an out-of-plane experience he will never forget. Miraculously, no one was injured since they provide passengers in the convertible section with parachutes. Corky landed in a trailer park area somewhere near Woonsocket, South Dakota. He promised to send a photo and update for Saturday's Calvinistic Cartoons deadline. He still maintains that flying is safer than shark riding.

Six Volume Set of Flavel Absolutely FREE!!

Corky at the Airport

Pictured above is Corky Velveeta at Airport Security. He had no trouble going through security or customs even though he was dressed like a grenade. We had to purchase two seats for Corky alone. The costume can't be folded or broken down. He is on his way to South Dakota. We hope to hear from him in the next day or two.

Comments are like Tips

I wish I could thank everyone personally for taking the time to comment on my blog.
Tips help to know you are doing something right. The more the better.
Unless, of course, it's counterfeit...then I will be taken to police headquarters and questioned until I confess. Please don't let that happen. I thank thee.

Meet Corky Velveeta

Corky Velveeta is the newest staff member at Calvinistic Cartoons. Seen here at the McKinney, Texas office, his assignment is to promote CC everywhere we can afford to send him. He leaves tomorrow for Mount Rushmore National Park in South Dakota. His costume was designed by the daughter of the second cousin of Edith Head's best friend's aunt. Corky will be wearing his Romans 9 attire on his travels. Look for him in your town. If you spot him, tell him "Cotton Adams is a Calvinist" and he will give you a thousand dollars! Those are the rules.

My Daughter is Cancer Free!

Just got word from the pathologist that Tammy is now cancer free!!! The chemo and the surgery cleared her! I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your prayers on her behalf! She still has reconstructive surgeries ahead but this is the best news I could possibly have heard today! Thank you all and many blessings to everyone! God has been gracious to us. I am rejoicing and crying at the same time. Give God a shout of thanksgiving. He has blessed us again!

When Widgets Go Bad

Honestly, I don't know if it's just my computer or not. In Kuwait, the building I live in has poor reception and my 'puter usually is slow go when it comes to downloading or uploading or freeloading for that matter.
I am turning to you who have years of experience in blogging, clogging or logging.

Not too long ago I added a widget for "recent comments". For the last week I am not showing anything under that heading. I need to know if everyone else is seeing the "recent comments" at the top right of my blog or not.
If no one else is seeing that displayed, then I need to know how to fix it.
I have tried in vain to restore it to it's former glory to no avail. But, things are a little strange here in Kuwait. My sitemeter banner doesn't show up here...but, when I was in the states a few weeks back, it was there!
So if anyone has had a similar problem with gadgets, widgets or wookies, please let me know. I think it helps when you can see the most recent comments made.
Thank you Saint Geek, whoever you are. (I mean that not in a Roman Catholic way)

Two Old Silent Covers

This is no joke. I just wanted to share two old Avon paperback covers of the C.S. Lewis classic. Interesting blurbs on the covers. One compares Lewis with Edgar Rice Burroughs - the creator of Tarzan.

Just for Laughs #73

Duck and Cover was a suggested method of personal protection against the effects of a nuclear weapon which the United States government taught to generations of United States school children from the early 1950s into the 1980s.
Your assignment, if you decide to take it, is to bring this up to date with a hearty theological twist coupled with a good sense of humor.

The Journal of Cotton Adams #28

For your reading pleasure and demonstration of this technical marvel, I present the lastest edition of Cotton's Journal on the kindle2. It's easier on the eyes than your monitor screen. I hope to be able to purchase one of these this year, hopefully before Christmas and before a kindle3 comes out. Oh yeah, to read the above without eye strain, enlarge the picture by a single click.
