Redbud was an old tree that knew his time had come. His limbs were stiff and his rings were many. He was a Tulip Tree that had seen this area change many times over the years. He had imagined many more years in this place but, the storm brought his fall and the consequences to follow. When he saw the Trim Reaper arrive he knew, that even though his roots were here, he would soon be no longer connected to this earth.
