Ban

  1. I thought I would keep my comments below the surface of the post this time. It's official. The movie, "The Book of Eli" has been banned here in Kuwait. (and in many other countries) DVD vendors, who set up their wares on the street or carry DVD's around in a backpack sell copies made from "screeners" (DVD that is used by newspaper or magazine movie reviewers sent to them by the company). There are no copyright laws here so recent movies are sold here for 750 fills to 1 Dinar (which equals around $2.50 to $3.50 in American dollars) If you have seen the movie, you will know why. You can find the entire story online if you plan on never seeing the movie.
And please, if any further comments on this subject...don't spoil the story line for anyone else. Thanks.
