CC's Time is Over - New Blog Starting

Calvinistic Cartoons will come to an end on May 5, 2011.
I will leave everything as is and start on a brand new blog on May 6, 2011.
It will be called, "Eddie's Recipes for Healthy Living".
It will only be about good eating habits and international recipes.
Thanks for your support.
And have a great April Fool's Day!

  1. I was expecting a different date on this announcement...

The new blog will be starting on May 13. It will be emanating from Heaven following a little thing called "the Rapture" will take place on May 12.

  2. I thought the new date would be May 22, 2011 since we are being bombarded here on the radio by Harold Camping that the world is ending on May 21, 2011.

I want to call Harold and ask if I can have this radio station, all his equipment, and his house since he is emphatic he will not be here on May 22, 2011. What the heck, the won't need them right?

  3. Happy April Fool's Day, Eddie. I've learned to read your entire post before panicking. :-)

  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO - oh. wait. nm.

  5. Hey, don't do this to me!
In Mexico we don't do the April fool's day thing... so I was caught off guard! :)

Have a happy and not so fool day! :)

  6. Sorry Becky, I thought this day was celebrated everywhere. I quote now from Wikipedia:
April Fools' Day is celebrated all around the world, except in Mexico and the Cantaloupe Islands, on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humored or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.
The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Calvinistic Cartoons (1392). Many writers suggest that the restoration of the January 1 as New Year's Day in the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references nor does it explain why pancakes smell so good.

  7. Does this mean you won't be posting recipes? Now I am disappointed!

  8. Awww. I was, like, "YES!! Something mundane but worthwhile for a change!" :D))

BTW: thanks for the encouragement over at TWSJ there, bro!

    Continued blessings,

  9. Haha, thanks for the info! ;) (Very creative!)

  10. I'm converting to 7th-day reformed arminian yiddish catholic...

  11. I'm not going to stay Anonymous any longer!

  12. Dear CC,

Are your recipes going to be preordained and unchangeable or will there be a chance to respond to the different qualities that growing conditions had on the ingredients. My mother never made anything the same twice.

    Grace and peace.

  13. @Kevin

You haven't been listening to Harold Camping lately, have you? Or perhaps watching the Third Eagle videos? ; )

  14. Has someone not been listening to me? I didn't know about it because I was camping.

  15. Had me worried there for a sec. Okay, happy April's fool's day.

  16. Never believe anything on National Atheists' Day. ;-)

  17. *Gasp*! Harold? My main man Harold was here? And I didn't get to shake his hand (virtually)? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

  18. Well, I'm going to just stop reading then.
