I don't really know why, but the first thing I thought of was that Rob Bell was making a Bibley version of Titanic using Noah's Ark:
"This earth is unsinkable. Even God couldn't flood it!"
"Noah! Why didn't you make enough stalls to save the dinosaurs?"
"But, Jack, I'm already married to one of Noah's sons. You can still be king of the world without me! Goodbye, darling, it's starting to rain. I'm going now."
How could he make this movie? Wouldn't it require him to believe that the flood as recorded in Scripture is true? Of course, we're also assuming Rob Bell finally actually read a Bible at some point.
Hilarious, Mr. Eddings! Only thing is... how do we know it's just a joke? ;)
ReplyDeleteSo, God isn't as concerned for justice as he was made out to be.
ReplyDeleteAnd we aren't the sinners that the bible makes us out to be.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Eddie!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteWait....how can he do an epic Biblical movie without Chuck Hesston? Oh - it's not Biblical! LOL good one, EE!
ReplyDeleteGood one. Not sure it will float without Cecil B. DeMill.

Love it! The most logical application of Bell's heresy I've seen yet. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteSuch genius, this makes "Titanic" look like "Flipper" in comparison...in a really, really bad way.
ReplyDeleteEPIC!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you will be the only one in heaven. You have way too much time on your hands.

ReplyDeleteStrange statement from what appears to be someone a little insane.
