  1. I've got a mansion
    just over the hilltop
    In that bright land where
    we'll never grow old....

  2. Woman with tea cup:

"R. C., you'd better be careful with little Pelagius. Our last Calvinist guest was taken to the ER."

  3. Ah the old days.

When men lead the worship and the ladies made tea.

  4. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this camp site
    And this crazy beatnik.

    That's all I got...

  5. The Sproul Family Vacations in Vermont

R.C. Jr. strums his guitar while Vesta hands her husband another cup of coffee. Seated at the table is church secretary, Mona Lisa Hirsch, taking down shorthand notes of the family's spontaneous theological anecdotes, which would be used in a future R.C. Sproul book.

The Sprouls' daughter, Sherrie, stayed home, embarrassed by her father's habit of wearing his golf duds in public.

  7. @ Eddie

Where can I get a t-shirt like the one that R.C. Jr. is wearing?

  8. R.C. always loved to hear R.C. Jr. sing gospel songs but, if they were Arminian songs he insisted that his son end with "...and free will died with Adam and Eve."

  11. Man: You were right, Jane. Adding secular music to our contemplative prayer/pet communion time was genius...

What does "I am the walrus, you are the egg man coo coo ka choo mean"?

  12. As the Sproul family reenacts Gilligan's Island, the little puppy wondered if he'd ever be predestined to be rescued to his own island.

  13. I didn't know Sufjan Stevens was a closet Calvinist... Why doesn't he wear that Corky shirt out in public?

Funny caption, Mother! I completely overlooked the fact that it was yours until I saw Stranger's comment, haha. :P
