Not really trying to be argumentative or anything, but, how do you disappoint someone who knows the end from the beginning? who knew how we'd mess up before we were born? I love to remember "I can't let God down; I wasn't holding Him up in the first place!" (I can't remember who said that!)
Omniscience & foreknowledge don't preclude sadness or grief. Any & all sin grieves / angers God despite the fact He knew it would happen. I think unbelief is possibly what grieves Him most. (Sorry if I misunderstood your question.) Thanks again.

ReplyDeleteThanks Esther. You have a valid point. But my question is how do we grieve the Holy Spirit if He is God?
