Any chance we could get a steampunked Leonard Ravenhill (I'm listening to "Judgment Seat of Christ" by him right now)? He wasn't a Calvinist, but boy was he a man of God. He just loved godly men, Calvinist or no.
I have read many books by Leonard Ravenhill. All convicted and stirred my soul. He was sort of a Revivalist version of A. W. Tozer.
I haven't found any large photos (which I use for these projects) that are good enough to use...yet.
I plan on doing some non-Calvinists in the series - probably in November or December. Stay tuned.
My sources tell me that Benny Finney paid a lot of money for a Charles Finney Steampunk portrait. He plans on showing it on his blog on October 12, 2013.
For the week of October 14-18:
ReplyDeleteJohn Owen, B.B. Warfield, Charles Hodge, Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and Herman Bavinck.
For the week of October 28-November 1:
J.C. Ryle, Thomas Watson, Loraine Boettner, John Newton, and finally, Thomas Manton
Excellent!

Ooo. Thank you.
DeleteI think we need some J. Gresham Machen. Maybe some John Murray as well? (I loved his book Steampunk: Accomplished and Applied)
ReplyDeleteAlso, how about Knox?
That's hilarious! I'm adding both to my November list!
DeleteSteampunk Gill!
ReplyDeleteOf course!! What's wrong with me?!! Gill is definitely on the list!
