Dialogue Dispute

Here is the challenge: These three busts above (Darwin, Finney and Spurgeon) have been placed together on a bookshelf by some ignoramus. Use your imagination and come up with a caption where one, two or all have something to say. This challenge will never end. I plan on using some, not all, (sorry, Arminians) to post with dialogue balloons and full credit to the humorist on this blog and my Facebook page during the months ahead. Good Providence to all the Calvinists who participate and good luck to all the Arminians and Semi-Pelagians who try their best.

Graphic Novel Page

This page was sent in by Herbie Fossenbooten. This Calvinistic Cartoon member thought I would appreciate the irony and humor. Well, Herbie, you have just earned yourself a nice, fat check of $7,000. I enjoyed the plug and will send you another check if you will mail me the entire graphic novel.

Just for Laughs #242

All these men and nothing to say? I seriously doubt it.
What are they planning? Just what is going on?
You tell us!

Just for Laughs #240

A caption right about now would be music to my ears.
Provide one and maybe you'll win a car...someday.

Come Back Captions #4

Ginger, I just have to tell you about this new Christian novel by Frank Paralysis! It's about vampires who visit a shack where the Trinity is living disguised as a butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker. They can only get to it by going through a wardrobe owned by Oprah Winfrey. Is it fiction?...I'm not sure, but it is endorsed by Rob Bell and Ron Howard!

What do God and the Caped Crusader have in common? While Batman is a secular superhero patrolling the fictional streets of Gotham City, the Caped Crusader is one whose story creates multiple opportunities for believers to talk about the redemptive spiritual truths of Christianity. While the book touches on Batman’s many incarnations over the last 70 years in print, on television, and at the local Cineplex for the enjoyment of Batman fans everywhere, it primarily focuses on Christopher Nolan’s two wildly popular and critically acclaimed movies—movies that not only introduced a new generation to a darker Batman, but are also loaded with spiritual meaning and redemptive metaphors.
