B.C. Finds Clue - A.D. Takes Flight

"Found another clue in another box...I'm thinking this could be a red herring."
- Agent Barry Cade

"I've booked a flight out to Death Valley. Plane leaves at noon.
Will send report as soon as I find something."
- Agent Alex Desmond

New Clues New Place

These two postcards were found taped to agent Alex Desmond's computer screen this morning when he arrived to work. Combined, the message reads as follows:
There is a museum in Death Valley
Where a woman by the name of Sally
Has a steampunk watch that can travel one through time
Tell her you were sent
By an anonymous gent
Then hand her an 1888 dime.
When she hands you the timepiece
Fly like a flock of geese
And never return to that Death Valley Museum again.

Map for Agent Alex

This map was stuck in a pizza box delivered to Alex Desmond this afternoon. On the back was this message:

Sit tight and try not to fret
     Next time order sushi

Official Report from Agent BC

CIA's Newest Agent

Our new field agent, Alex Desmond, has been a loyal fan of Calvinistic Cartoons since the beginning. Since Barry Cade can't be in two places at one time, and because of the massive amount of clues to follow in the Angus Duncan case, we welcome Alex to the organization. With Barry (B.C.) and Alex (A.D.) we can do a better job of solving this mystery once and for all.

FREE CLASSIC BOOK!

Signs of the Times #3

The Powderhorn Clues

This was found, like a bookmark, inside a volume I was reading by Randy Alcorn. The book is entitled, "Heaven", and this was stuck in chapter 44. The chapter section is titled, "Will We Travel in Time?" I suggest you purchase this book and read it.
This sheet of stamps was inside the brochure and had the following written on the back:
At Big Powder Horn you'll find a smaller powderhorn. Inside the powderhorn you'll find a very unusual watch. Put it in your pocket so you don't lose it. Find a way to bring it to me. It's a missing piece to my future.  A.W.D.

Corky Donates Comic Book to AA Museum

Today, Corky Velveeta donated this very old, expensive comic book to the Arminian Antics Museum. This was the only issue the museum was missing in the Nigel Pettibone exhibit. The curator, Mr. Sy Burnette, said, "This is the best gift this museum has been given by a Calvinist since World War 2." The Arminian Antics Museum reopens in one week and will feature a wax replica of Nigel Pettibone trapped in a block of ice.

FREE 1,192 page Commentary

The commentary provides numerous Scripture cross references, with many of them having the text provided without having to look them up separately, as well as references from trusted biblical scholars such as MacArthur, Spurgeon, Wiersbe, Sproul, Hodge, Ryle, Packer, and Martyn Lloyd-Jones, which help to emphasize and support the points made on how we need to seek and apply God's commands in our daily lives.

Photos of Missing Flux Capacitors

Pictured above is the watch belonging to Corky Velveeta. If found, please do not attempt to adjust the settings. Do not give in to the temptation to try to travel into the past. The "jet lag" could drive you insane and you might be stuck in the past for the rest of your life. The reward for returning it will be well worth your effort, I assure you.
This is Eddie's flux capacitor. The middle section is removable and is designed to fit into a component in his Calvinistic Cartoonmobile. This will help him rescue Angus Duncan from the year 1888. Return it as soon as you find it and your honesty and integrity will be rewarded.

Major Discovery by CC Fan

While Calvinistic Cartoon fan, Aberdeen Candun was reading our blog yesterday, he remembered an old comic book he had stored away in the attic back in 1988.. To his surprise, on the inside back cover, he found the words, "Spurgeon will run into Jack the Ripper outside the Metropolitan Tabernacle on March 13th, 1888 at 8 P.M... Tell Holmes to stop the encounter at any cost."

April 2015 and April 2015

This month you gets two choices for yer April type calendar. The message should be clear enough for any atheist to understand. If any atheists out there are offended by this truth, then you may have to live the rest of your life without an apology from me.

Important Announcement!

Back with More Clues

Agent Barry Cade wanted to share this information with the loyal readers of Calvinistic Cartoons who are concerned about Angus Duncan and his Sacred Sandwich blog. There may be more clues to follow next week if he gets the clearance from CIA headquarters.

Theological Parallels

Each comic strip will have it's own analogous meaning. Think Christianly about the message. The first one is overtly obvious. I am interested in how you might interpret the second one. Click it to get a better view and please comment below.

Old Ad from Otis Clutterbuck

Thanks for sending this old ad in the Calvinistic Cartoons, Mr. Clutterbuck! We love vintage advertising. It's a part of our history. In his email, Otis wrote, "This came from Century Magazine in the year 1888. I thought you might find it very interesting. Please let agent BC look at it soon."

Best to enlarge it...really.

A True Blue Clue from Cade to You

Barry Cade here. I found this photo on my windshield this morning. Written on the back was this odd poem:
The year Louisa May Alcott died
And the year Harpo Marx was born
Is the year I will remain inside
Until you find the powder horn

You Can Trust Him
