Important Announcement!

Back with More Clues

Agent Barry Cade wanted to share this information with the loyal readers of Calvinistic Cartoons who are concerned about Angus Duncan and his Sacred Sandwich blog. There may be more clues to follow next week if he gets the clearance from CIA headquarters.

Theological Parallels

Each comic strip will have it's own analogous meaning. Think Christianly about the message. The first one is overtly obvious. I am interested in how you might interpret the second one. Click it to get a better view and please comment below.

Old Ad from Otis Clutterbuck

Thanks for sending this old ad in the Calvinistic Cartoons, Mr. Clutterbuck! We love vintage advertising. It's a part of our history. In his email, Otis wrote, "This came from Century Magazine in the year 1888. I thought you might find it very interesting. Please let agent BC look at it soon."

A True Blue Clue from Cade to You

Barry Cade here. I found this photo on my windshield this morning. Written on the back was this odd poem:
The year Louisa May Alcott died
And the year Harpo Marx was born
Is the year I will remain inside
Until you find the powder horn

Agent Tracks Down Clues

Calvinists In Action agent, Barry Cade has uncovered more clues today. Following certain highlighted page numbers from a magazine that was sent to him, he found the hotel pictured below.

In room 1888 (which was curious because the building had only four floors) he found the following.
Barry will be contacting Corky asap.

This is NOT a Free Book

Someone just hacked into Calvinistic Cartoons and posted this ad above! I think it might be another clue to Angus Duncan's disappearance, so I will leave it as is. Our agents weren't able to track down the source...it seems like the source disappeared as well.

Barry Cade at Cass Cade Books

Agent Barry Cade knew Angus meant his sister Cass's Bookstore when he left the message. (see yesterday's post) He just hasn't figured out the clue(s) Angus might have hidden. Cade will contact Corky and deliver the book to him immediately. Corky will know what to look for.

How to Avoid a Mime Field

I sometimes wonder what happened to some of the old commenters that used to write on Calvinistic Cartoons. Honestly, I don't know if my blog got old; if I offended them; if they got involved in missions; or if they died and went to Heaven. And does anyone know what happened to the Sacred Sandwich? Is it stored in a refrigerator in a warehouse somewhere? Any info on former fans or abandoned blogs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Fan Photo from Katy Modzilla

For some unknown reason, Ryan Gosling was seen on Hollywood Boulevard dressed like Corky Velveeta. Thanks to Ms Modzilla's iPhone, she captured the moment on camera. When Katy asked Ryan why the costume, he just said it made him feel important.

Nigel Pettibone Found!

Many of you may recall how Captain America was found, after many years, frozen in a block of ice. Well, history has repeated itself when Explorer Felix Austead found Nigel Pettibone in a block of ice, floating down the Welland Canal yesterday morning. Mr. Austead, a new follower of Calvinistic Cartoons, contacted agent Barry Cade immediately, who in turn contacted Sola Bootstrapa. Cade stayed until Benny Finney and Elvis Wesley arrived to take Nigel and made sure Mr. Austead got his reward.
Benny Finney and Elvis Wesley loaded Mr. Pettibone in their Sola Bootstrapa Ice Cream Truck and drove off into the sunset. We should be hearing about Nigel's recovery in the next Sola Bootstrapa blog post.
