Are the red and green lenses for 3D viewing?
I'm not sure. I do know they enhanced his reading abilities though.

Red and green night vision, eh? I didn't know he was into tactical gear (you know, guns, knives...).
I'm not sure about all that...but, I do know he was proficient with a butterfly knife.
...or maybe that was a butter knife.
