CC Theme Song

Calvinistic Cartoons needs a TV theme song that can be sung to the tune of an old TV theme song. The chosen one will have the theme posted separately next month. I would like to post the original theme song from YouTube along side the new CC theme so everyone will be familiar with the tune. This doesn't have to be lengthy - just have fun with it. (think of the old TV shows like Patty Duke, Maverick, Huckleberry Hound, etc.)

  1. The old Hawaii 5-0 theme would be epic..."CC 5 point Oh!"...but that tune doesn't lend itself to lyrics.....:(

  3. The Gumby theme would work well for Corky:

"There was once a Romans 9 hand grenade, Corky!"

  5. Tune of Beverly Hillbillies...

Gonna tell ya a little story 'bout a man named Ed,
A Calvinist man who was Holy Spirit led.
Each and ev'ry day he blogging for the Lord
Read it for yourself, you never will be bored.

    Blog, that is, info, internet.

Well the first thing you know, old Finney's up in the air.
Said, Arminian is the only way to preach,
But Ed couldn't do it because it doesn't really teach.

    God, that is, Sovereign, Trinity

Well now its time to say good by to Ed and all his friends.
And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin in.
You're all invited back a gain to this locality
To have a heapin helpin of their great theology.

Calvinism that is. Set a spell, Take your shoes off.

    Y'all come back now, y'hear?.

  7. To the Beverly Hillbillies theme song: Come and listen to a story bout a man named Ed, the poor Calvinist had a helmet on his head. What the helmet was for I don't have a clue, but his daily blog will help see you thru. Calvinist Cartoons that is... Corky Velveeta...Faye Rosehart.

Okay, I'll leave it to someone else to finish this CC theme song.

  9. Tune: Theme from Maverick

Who is the tall, dark stranger there?
    Eddings is his name.
Ridin’ thru time to who knows where,
    Corky’s his companion,
    Humor is his game.

Quick with a laugh or with a pun,
    Eddings is his name.
Log on in and join the fun,
    Provide a funny caption,
    Even if it’s lame.

  10. I loved all of them so far, but I have to say that Chris Hensley's theme song broke the needle on my Laffometer.

  11. I need to buy a new Laffometer, but they don't make the analog ones any more. I guess I'll have to either go digital or travel back in time and pick up one of the old fashioned ones.

  12. This is gonna be difficult. I really like them all...maybe I can change theme songs with each new season...

  13. Good news. Someone from Arminian Antics, who wants to remain Anonymous, contacted me and said that they have a Laugh-o-meter that they will give me, because they have never used it and probably never will.

No, he isn't keeping his identity secret; "Anonymous" really is his name. He wants it to remain Anonymous because he he gets royalties from those big books of quotes that attribute many sayings to him.
