Comments Always Welcome

Why not take a few minutes today to comment on some of your favorite blogs? It is a sure way to encourage those who love to encourage others. It takes little effort and your remarks might just make someone's day. (especially to those bloggers who get very few comments) If Davey, who is made of clay, can do it - so can you. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "If I were bloggin' and no one let me know they were out there, somewhere, reading...I would probably stick to Facebook or Twitter."

  3. Caption:

" Look Goliath, it's Rick Warren's Not About Easter Easter Service being broadcast from Easter Island! When do the Jonas Brothers play? I heard that Brooks & Dunn will play a honky tonk song this year..."

  4. GOLIATH: There's a thousand Davey's out there; but none of them's my Davey.

DAVEY: Hey, Goliath, check out Eddie Eddings' blog.

GOLIATH: Oh, there you are, Davey. What's a blog?

DAVEY: I don't know, Goliath. But this one has to do with Calvinism.

[Goliath scratches his clay head with his clay paw in classic clay-mation style]

    GOLIATH: What's Calvinism, Davey?

DAVEY: That's exactly right, Goliath. There's a thousand opinions about Calvinism out there, but what truly is Calvinism is what we need to examine.

No clay products were harmed in the writing of this script or the production of Eddie's or Jon's blogs.

  5. Ouch! Ouch! My arm has been twisted! I admit it, alright - I read every post on this blog now and I'm afraid if I comment on each one of them I'll appear to be some crazy humor-addicted sycophant! Oh well. Have a great day Eddie...and Davey...and Corky...and Abe....

  6. Actually, I've always liked being a "lurker." Has that scary, ominous tone to it. Guess I'll have to give it up.

  7. HMMM.. Don't know if I'm reading the caption wrong based on all the previous comments but....

In addition to the "big gun blogs" like Pyromaniacs and such, I greatly enjoy reading the blogs of my friends at the Caffeinated Calvinist's Network. (which Cal-toons are part of) Here's Eddie's link to that blogroll:

I also love reading Pilgrim Mommy and Wittenberg Door - you can find those links here on the right side of the page.

All of these hard working brothers and sisters bring me challenge and encouragement, and you-know-who is always good for a laugh!

  8. Quite right, Diane.

I was so busy waxing in clay-mation (or was that claying in wax-mation), I didn't mention the blogs I love to visit:

Even though I’m a guy, and darn proud of it, I like to read Diane’s Theology for Girls. I actually sneak in when Diane’s not looking.

    Christina Langella’sHeavenly Springs,

Turretinfan’s Thoughts of Francis Turretin. Now, I suppose if Turretinfan is a fan of Francis Turretin and I’m a fan of Turretinfan, does that make me Turretinfanfan?

    James White’s Pros Apologian.

… and of course, Eddie Eddings’ Calvinistic Cartoons, the all-weather theology!

There are certainly many, many more but I think I’ve run out of html code.
