Arminian Antics #66

  1. It appears that even the best Arminians are not immune to the doctrines of grace...

  2. Maybe we'll hear from Spanky soon enough.

  4. @ Kent C. Strate

It is your choice, but I advise you to take care that you don't get seduced by Corky and his ilk.

I would send you my copy of George Bryson's The Dark Side of Calvinism but postage is to high these days. If there is a Calvary Chapel nearby, pick up a copy at there book store.

Remember: Calvinists believe that God drags men and women kicking and screaming into heaven who don't want to go there; and he bars people from heaven who do want to go there, but weren't lucky enought to get predestinated. End of story.

  5. Is there significance in the chocolate tulip? Is this a new outreach from CC? If so, I will look into packing the tulip in dry ice for shipment to high heat environments...

  6. Chocolate is made from plants, which means it contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that leads to heart disease. Dark chocolate contains a large number of antioxidants (nearly 8 times the number found in strawberries). Flavonoids also help relax blood pressure through the production of nitric oxide, and balance certain hormones in the body.
The TULIP symbolizes Biblical and spiritual health.

(...the only "dark" side of Calvinism is the healthy dark chocolate shaped like a tulip...)

Arminians always send a straw man.

  7. Arminians would probably explain this as a predictable result of ketchup's "natural mellowing agents" working on Spanky's heart over time.

To prevent this from spreading, some Arminians recommend completely removing ketchup from one's diet.
