Corky and the Killer

1 comment:

  1. BORAX: Look, it’s simple. All you have to do is pull the pin.

STAN GRIMES: But lady, that’s suicide!

BORAX: Okay, okay, okay. You’re the professional. You decide how it’s done. I just want him knocked off.

GRIMES: Do you mind if I ask you why?

    BORAX: Not at all.

    [Long Pause]

GRIMES: Okay, will you tell me why you want him knocked off?

    BORAX: No.

GRIMES: But I thought you didn’t mind if I asked you “why.”

BORAX: No, Mr. Grimes, I don’t mind if you ask me why. Ask all you want. Ask till the cows come home. I don’t mind at all. Just don’t expect an answer.

GRIMES: So you need me to bump off this Corky Velveeta. Okay, Ms. Borax… you’ve got a deal!

    BORAX: Here’s your money… and Grimes…

    GRIMES: Yes, ma’am.

BORAX: Try to wash up a little, will you?

GRIMES: Bumping people off is a dirty business, Ms Borax. A dirty business indeed.

[word verification for posting this comment is a strange arrangement of letters indeed, amsyperc
