History Channel on Nikola Tesla

When I see the word history I always think of His story as I'm sure a lot of you do. It's evident that God uses people from all walks of life to accomplish His will and purposes. I am reminded of an atheist who, after recovering from a near fatal incident, told me in the hospital that he thanked science for his recovery and healing. That is like thanking Sherlock Holmes for solving all the crimes in the detective novels he appears in and forgetting Mr. A. Conan Doyle, the author of the entire series. God is the Author and Finisher, the Cause and Completer, The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End, The A and Z and all the letters in between of our faith -- and the jot and tittles of history itself. Enjoy the film. It's well worth the 45 minutes.

Tesla Two Times

This cover was sent to us by fan photographer, Cha Cha Hargreeves, who found this July 20, 1931 issue inside an old trunk he bought at a silent auction. This shows Tesla at age 75 with a certain friend in the background.
This cover was found online by Earl Grey of Mimosa Peak, Idaho. Notice Edison is wearing a bow tie that looks exactly like the one worn by Benny Finney.

Overslept and Caption Contest Winner

Well, my electricity came back on around 11 p.m. last night. I had just stocked our cooler with several bags of ice, trying to save what I could from the freezer. It was great to sleep in an air-conditioned house, with fans going, once again! We had hopes of having the house completely cleaned before my daughter, grand-daughter, and son-in-law arrive today from Kuwait. So with the power back in place, my wife and I started cleaning house. (It really doesn't do much good to push a vacuum around without electricity). All that to say this...woke up late (first time in months) and was not able to Photoshop the Caption Contest Winner's certificate or rework the original photo. Aaron, maybe God is teaching you patience...I am honored to be a part of that process.
