A "Science" of Denial

  1. “So Dad. How about, if I take an Extra-Strength Excedrin™ and just NOT BELIEVE that it is working on the migraine that I don’t really have?”

  2. Wow! Awesome car. My wife just bought one (1954 Chevrolet) fully restored. By the way, NO SEATBELTS, but they aren't necessary for Christian Scientists anyway; all their maladies are imaginary.

My grandmother was Christian Science. She didn't believe in physical illness so she didn't have a doctor. She died. Go figure.
