  1. BAHAA!! I think my wife has seen this face before, unfortunately....

"I'm readin' a book, kid, I'm readin' your book!"

  2. I hope you feel better soon and I trust the illness that robbed your humor detector is not serious. I do understand that everyone has an off day or ocassionally feels under the weather.

I hope the healthcare system there K. allows you an immediate visit to the Doctor since I know that 274 followers and innumberable readers (who should comment more) would hate to loose you to this dire illness.

I am shocked that was even made let alone aired. It had no humor nor redeeming value.

Get well soon my friend, I miss the old Eddie Eddings you has a great sense of humor.

  4. I "borrowed" the video from Kevin DeYoung's DeYoung, Restless and Reformed blog...the bagpipes, at the end of the video, crack me up every single time.

  5. All of us theology junkies can relate to this, I think. That's why it's not too funny - we've all made that face before, perhaps when we were interrupted in the middle of that thrilling chapter of Grudem's theology. As for that silly man in the skirt playing the bagpipes? Um, no comment.

Apologies in advance to all of my beloved Scottish friends, whoever you are. I'm sure I didn't mean to offend you, but I have a moral resistance to anything that resembles cross-dressing and an auditory disdain for high pitched squeaking sounds. Sorry.

I hope I didn't just make that worse.

  6. Sadly, I think many of us can identify with that attitude...even when reading something spiritual. It's amazing how quickly we can turn to the flesh...at a Bible study, after praying, "reading a book"...

  7. Indeed, this is evidence of our daily, moment-by-moment need for the Gospel. A need that is continually supplied, thanks be to God!

  8. "I'm reading a book pig, I'm reading a book."

    Haha!

  9. I thought it was HILARIOUS, but perhaps it's because I like strange humour (notice the British spelling; hint, hint).

  10. It's hilarious and the guy playing the bagpipes made me laugh too. Then again I have at least two CD's of nothing but bagpipe music and men look good in kilts.

  11. Julian Smith is acting like a "gangsta" in this film. He is nothing like what you see here. Julian is more like Jim Carrey (see the Pre-Blessed Food spot).
