  1. Hmmm. Sorry if this is a repeat. I'll try again as the first try seems to have disappeared.

    So, is the answer yes?

The verse could mean that angels are sent out on an ad hoc basis in the service of those who are to inherit salvation. It needn't mean a specific angel assigned to each person.

  2. ^ My comments keep disappearing, too. Blogger is psycho. X-P Good comment, by the way.

  3. I've decided that the clue to not having one's comments disappear is to sign into Blogger/Google _first_, then the site recognizes you before you type your comment into the combox. Otherwise, you type the whole comment, select the option to post it using a Google account, and the system causes the comment you just typed to disappear in the course of logging you in. Then you're logged in and have the opportunity to...er..retype the comment.

  4. You're not alone. MY comments will disappear in mid-stream also. So I type a sentence or two and copy it. Usually solves the problem. (I thought that this was just a problem with my own network connection but it seems it's a little more widespread than I imagined)

  5. ...and to answer your question, Lydia, my point was that only the elect has this Divine protection. Your point, which I hadn't given a lot of thought to, is well taken. Thanks for your patience in commenting while Blogger does it magical disappearing acts.

  6. @Lydia: Yes, you're correct. That lines up with what I thought. Though, I've even had it disappear while typing the comment. o_O
