Arminian Perception

  1. The way Calvinists see themselves:
Reformed circuits that perceive bad theology

Oblivious to Human need for working off salvation

Bold in the Gospel and undeterred by Arminians

Operate in the Spirit of Truth in Fruits of the Spirit

    TULIP talking machines

Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Sola Scriptura, Solus Christus, Soli Deo Gloria

  2. SamWise, that is a clever rebuttal of ROBOTS. You are quick-witted and inventive. But, the core of the joke is the ROBOTS acronym. Arminians always reply that humans are not "robots". The counter-argument would have better been served with a H.U.M.A.N.S. or H.E.A.R.T.S. acronym. Otherwise, we are still perceived as "ROBOTS" with no heart or feelings. Calvinists generally see themselves, not as robots, but as S.A.I.N.T.S. to whom the Truth has been given them by spiritual revelation. They didn't figure it out themselves - nor would they ever, if left to themselves. All glory goes to God alone. Does that make sense?
Even if you choose to muster up another comment please don't delete the one above. It is, as I mentioned, cleverly done and I love it - especially the Sola ending.

  3. Calvinists also see themselves as:

Sanctified in Christ Jesus (I Corinthians 1:2) who are:

Aliens in a strange land (Exodus 18:3), yet still:

Imperfect in this life (Philippians 3:12), however who are:

New Creations in Christ (II Corinthians 5:17) who are:

Theologically watching for wolves that will not spare the flock (Acts 20: 29) who have been:

Sealed to the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30)!

  4. Great! Nice win the CC Acronym Award of the Week!
