R.C. Jr. strums his guitar while Vesta hands her husband another cup of coffee. Seated at the table is church secretary, Mona Lisa Hirsch, taking down shorthand notes of the family's spontaneous theological anecdotes, which would be used in a future R.C. Sproul book.
The Sprouls' daughter, Sherrie, stayed home, embarrassed by her father's habit of wearing his golf duds in public.
R.C. always loved to hear R.C. Jr. sing gospel songs but, if they were Arminian songs he insisted that his son end with "...and free will died with Adam and Eve."

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Sufjan Stevens was a closet Calvinist... Why doesn't he wear that Corky shirt out in public?
