There's a local church that distributes tracts on a weekly basis on the busiest road in town. They've tossed this very tract through the windows of both my car and my wife's car. My kids can tell what's wrong with the tract and properly derided it. I have no idea why anyone would think that this is an effective tract, but I intended to indicate that we should use discernment in selecting Halloween tracts.
Wait a minute: tract-or-treat! Why have I never heard that pun before?
ReplyDeleteOH! that's what it is...all this time I thought it was tacks in treats.
ReplyDeleteTracts like this one?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Jim.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any Chick Tracts for tonight, but I do have a bunch of Tombstone Tracts from Fish With Trish : )
@Jim: You're a cold, cold man. :-P

ReplyDeleteYes, I understand, Jim. Some of Jack Chick's tracts make you ask, "So, where is the law and gospel in the story here?"
ReplyDeleteRay Comfort's and F.W.T. tracts ALWAYS have a clear law-gospel + call to repent and believe included.
