Atheist Comic Discovered
This 1944 comic book indicated that there had been eight issues previously published by the Godless Atheists of America Publishing Company in Braindead, Minnesota. This was a lie. Only one issue circulated, making the public believe it was number nine. No one knows the reasoning here. The publisher, Matty Dumas, later told the press to mind their own business. "No one can tell me what I should or shouldn't do!" he screamed before throwing himself out of a one story building.

Hey, I started a series of articles I wrote with Number 5 of a Series. An old publisher's trick.
ReplyDeleteAnyway would that have been the first appearance of Faye Rosehart? As she seems to have been born in about 1913 (http://search.ancestry.com.au/cgi-bin/sse.dll?rank=0&gsln=Rosehart&f7=IL&gss=genfact&db=1920usfedcen) she would have been around about 30.
