I am of the camp (there are camp sites all over the globe) that believes everyone is a theologian. You might be a bad theologian or a lazy theologian, a liberal, an agnostic or a warped-beyond-belief theologian...but, a theologian ye are. It always bothers me when I hear someone say, "Well, I'm not a theologian, but..." then they continue to teach whatever they "feel" is correct. If you talk about God - you are talkin' theology. Keep your minds tuned to the truth and harmony of the Scriptures and you'll be a Biblical theologian!
Mr. Hanegraaff actually thinks that the competition has already taken place so there would be no reason to be looking forward to at this point. (he is a preterist ;)
I've heard that future episodes may feature the modalist mambo, heretical hustle, and the tax evasion two-step.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant post Eddie, and even more brilliant comment Persis!
ReplyDeleteAmazingly astute and perfectly pertinent!
ReplyDeleteEddie, you win the Elasticity Award for stretching the term Theologian so thin as to include brother Hinn and sister Hickey! Great work, sir!
I just laughed so loudly that I scared my children...
ReplyDeleteDo not forget my main blog Let Us Repent and Believe :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike...don't know how I let your main blog slip by...
ReplyDeleteI know, right :)
ReplyDeleteHeard that Hank Hanegraaff, the Tango Answer Man, will be judging (or has he already judged?) the competition.
