The point of this post is in the last sentence. Reason against reason, evidence against evidence is fighting fire with fire. Standing on God's Word and God's Truth is using the Water of Life to put out the Devil's fire.
How can you claim "God's Reality," "God's Word," and "God's Truth" WITHOUT using actual Scripture to do this? This all stems from Presuppositionalism's lie of "all things being equal..." NON-Christian "evidence" is NO evidence at all. NON-Christian "rationalism" ISNT rational at all. See Romans 1. Non-Christians suppress the Truth in UNrighteousness. "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness," Rom. 1:18. You can't suppress what you don't already know. This, by God's definition, cannot be presupposed. To "presuppose" IS Man's rational and is idolatry. Stop ignoring God's command to repent. You can't ignore this forever.
James, you continue to spam my blog with your ignorance. You are fighting straw men you have presupposed. Presuppositional/Covenant/Reformed/Worldview/Biblical Apologists not only use the Word of God throughout their witness, they stand on the solid ground of Scripture and never budge. That's what "no neutrality" means. Please stop spamming my blog with your tirades. Every truth has its critics. Please just do your thing on your own blog and leave mine alone. Thank you.
Your straw man fallacy is pathetically ludicrous. How could you possibly know how much Scripture I use when witnessing? The Word is efficacious, not reason, not evidence, not any method. My apologetic life verses are 1 Peter 3:15 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
Calling a fellow believer to repentance over a minor disagreement is a cultic tactic. They're more concerned with making you agree with their particular doctrines rather than focusing on the gospel. http://polemicsreport.com/2016/09/23/cult-warning-signs/
@James.. to have a discussion without quoting scripture is something to be repented of? Please tell me where that is found in scripture? While scripture is never ingnorance[sic], using it incorrectly is.

ReplyDeleteThis is about as clear a presentation of the differences between the different schools of thought as I've seen.
ReplyDeleteAmen we're going to share this in our next round up!

ReplyDeleteA call for repentance is never spam. Still..., you use no Scripture. Repent.
ReplyDeleteMatthew 4:17 NKJV
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Scripture is never ignorance.
