Interesting but I must challenge our friend Benny on his observation. As TWOO fans know, the action that supplanted Dorothy's return to her beloved Kansas was to adorn the ruby slippers and 'click three times'. This famous phrase penned by Mr. Baum is synonymous with a hit song named 'Knock Three Times' performed by Tony Orlando and Dawn. The pop trio consisted of three talented individuals; Michael Anthony Orlando Cassavitis, Joyce Vincent Wilson and Telma Louise Hopkins. Looking closely, within the three names is hidden the phrase 'Cornelius Van Til is the main man'. Clearly, Mr. Baum's foresight was astounding and the underlying theme was not promoting a 'free will' point of view but rather to express the wonders of Sovereign Grace.
Benny Finney sells the rights to his own blockbuster movie, "A Mutable Blind" where a not-so-brilliant theological blogger imagines that he is called by a heavenly spy to decode the revelations of secret Arminians who aren't afraid to "stand up and be counted."
Not sure if you know that Dorothy drank a beverage that uses the same letters as her native state. :)
ReplyDeleteHas Benny Finney decoded the book of Revelation?
ReplyDeleteKansas Bob, I didn't have a clue.
ReplyDeleteStranger, last I heard, he was working on decoding the Prayer of Jabez.

ReplyDeleteSounds like someone has too much time on his hands! :}
