Guess Where #3

Does this look a little familiar?
Name the road AND place.

Did you know there is a webcam,
trained on the crossing 24 hours a day?
Well, you do now.

  2. I first thought it was Notting Hill but I do not see the colonnades which make this area stand out.

So I will go with Holland Park Ave which is near ...well... Holland Park

Or its the latest recruitment center for CC

  3. Abbey Road and the studios named after it are in St. John's Wood, London, England

  4. Look at the way the cars are parked.

That is not in England, since they would be parked facing the opposite direction.

  5. Then which country has those yellow license plates? and good catch BTW.

  6. It is Abbey Road in London. I found the photo on the internet. I have no explanation for the direction the cars are parked. (maybe it is now a one way street) Someone from London could really help with an explanation. Maybe we will hear from Ringo Starr.

  7. No, you won't be hearing from me.

  8. It must be a ONE WAY: no dividing stripe in the center; it looks like a bicycle lane on the left.

  9. But, on the Abbey Road Album, there is a yellow stripe down the middle. Maybe it has been changed during the years since the album came out.

  10. DEFINITELY Abbey Road, and I must say, Corky would have fit in perfectly with Addison Road's All That Matters Video which features a cameo of the road in question!

Unless that street is now a one way street.

  12. Well I'm from Australia and I've never been to England so take what I say with a grain of salt :-P Feel free to rebuke me and prove me wrong! I was looking at photos of Abbey Road on Google Images and the buildings around the road look a bit different. They are closer to the road than in this picture. Also the road is slightly curved in the picture on the record cover. They could easily have changed the road since then of course.

  13. Hey! Isn't Abbey Road a ROAD and not just a spot? I mean, doesn't it continue down the street? Can I get a witness?

  14. Yes it is a road. SO I suppose the pictures could be different spots on the same road :-)

  15. Well, when you find out for sure, let me know so I can track him down and claim $7,000 by saying, "Cotton Adams was a Calvinist!"
