My Spot

This is where I go to think. Here I am wondering where all the comments have gone...and contemplating my next post or two. This is where I read "My Utmost for His Highest". It seems to mean a lot more when I am sitting here. I have lost more copies of that book, at this location, than I care to remember.

  1. Just becareful you don't all off. I would rather talk to you than about you. But what a wonderful place to pray and contemplate the glory of God! Not to mention where the comments went. I too, am amazed. I posted a blog a few days ago that was a combination of humor, wit, insight that I was pretty pleased with and not one comment.

Oh, now I see, maybe it was because I was pleased with it, hmmm.

Brother, you are an inspiration to me, I hope that at the bottom of the canyon are the missing comments that will make back to you!

  2. Thanks for your comment Gregg, they are always appreciated! Some sites have some heavy duty commenting. (it'll probably take some time for them to find us on the blog radar) I have seen one post nothing else but a picture of a shoe on the highway and recieve 54 comments. I have seen someone accidentally post a partial entry and recieve 147 comments. I noticed one day on a blog far, far away that there was no post at all - and it got 376 comments. I know you work hard on your blog and I plan on working hard on mine sometime in the near future. So you are an inspiration to me as well. (in reality, I would NEVER venture out on a ledge like the one shown in the photo. I would have to use a stunt double.)

  3. My palms are getting clammy looking at that picture of you on the ledge that isn't really you.

  4. Notice the obvious fault forming in crevice behind her! That alone (as someone trained in Geology) would scare me! The camera cause people to do stupid things for a few minutes of fame!

  5. My apologies, I didn't see Eddie's space helmet! Do you also read there "Hinds feet in High places" beyond the cracking crevice?
