Tomorrow (Sunday) First Service: A reading and explanation of the Law, showing that we are sinners, condemned before a holy God. This will be followed by the preaching of the Gospel, promising forgiveness of sins and eternal life through faith in Jesus and His substitutionary Atonement for His people.
Next, a sermon on Jesus' teaching on divorce, from Matthew 19. That will lead us up to the Lord's Supper, signifying Jesus' body and blood, given on the cross for the remission of our sins.
Second Service: A sermon on the Second Commandment, teaching us "that we are in no way to make any image of God, nor worship Him in any other way than He has commanded us in His Word," but we are to be taught by the "lively preaching of His Word."
Hmmm, let's see what is on the menu.
